“Lake of Happiness” won Best Film Award & Best Director Award at the Arnedo Film Festival in La Rioja, Spain. And this is the statement of the Jury for both Awards.

In “Lake of Happiness” the Jury of the Arnedo Film Festival in La Rioja has highlighted its narrative quality, interpretation, light and sensitivity of an authentic story.A longer short film in terms of its length, but not a single minute to spare.

• Best Director Award: El jurado del Festival de Cine de Arnedo en La Rioja coincide en que «todo en ‘Lake of happiness’ funciona. Pero quizá la verdad en la interpretación que consigue, de todos los actores, y en especial, de la niña protagonista, hizo que el PREMIO a la DIRECCION se fuese también a este corto».

The jury of the Arnedo Film Festival in La Rioja agrees that “everything in ‘Lake of happiness’ works. But perhaps the truth in the interpretation he gets, from all the actors, and especially from the girl protagonist, made the DIRECTION AWARD go to this short as well.
