Thrilled to announce that the screenplay THE SHELL, by the Turkish Writer & Director Hakan Unal, won FIRST PRIZE at the XXXVIII Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, USA.

THE SHELL will be the second collaboration between Hakan Unal and Mailuki Films after the spectacular ALLEGORIA, which has just premiered on the International Film Festival circuit.

Synopsis of THE SHELL: Having to take care of her unloving and crippled mother, Zeynep feels stifled. When she finally comes out of her shell for a brief moment of peace, she has to face terrible consequences.
