On a magical and unforgettable evening, three of our filmmakers received awards at the Bucharest Short Film Festival in Romania:

• MIAZEL, by George Dogaru, won the Best National Short Film Award.
• LEAF, by first-time director Horatiu Caripiuc, received a Special Mention from the Jury for its young lead actress, Ruxanda Burlacu.
• THE MAGICIAN, by Bogdan Muresanu, received a Special Mention from the Jury for Best Animated Short Film.

This film event was created to make its mark on the international film festival circuit.
