Thrilled to announce that Bruno Carnide has been formally invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to become a member of The Academy.

Bruno Carnide is a renowned filmmaker who works between Portugal and Spain. Twice nominated by the Portuguese Film Academy for the Sophia Awards, he is a regular at the world’s most prestigious film festivals with all his short films.

Bruno Carnide has just completed a new short film produced in Portugal and Spain/the Basque Country. It is titled Maré Vaza, aka Ebb Tide and is based on an original screenplay by the wonderful Iberian writer Catia Biscaia.
