Thrilled to announce that two shorts by Mailuki Films have been chosen as a Top Official Selection films of the 2026 Richmond International Film Festival:
- Octopus, by George Dogaru, Romania
- Anyone lived in a pretty how town, by Daniel Kreizberg, Lithuania/Monaco/USA
Among this year’s exceptionally competitive lineup of entries, our two films stood out and were received with great enthusiasm by the RIFF programming committee.
As an Official Selection, our films will screen in competition festival week September 22 – 27 at the historic The Byrd Theatre.
Both films are eligible for top honors from the Grand Jury.
We are very excited to be taking part in this major North American film event, and both filmmakers will be attending the screenings of their films in person.
