Thrilled to announce that Amar Haikal’s short film MY PLASTIC MOTHER won the award for Best Short Film by a First-Time Director at Prague Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

The screening and awards ceremony took place at the fantastic and centrally located Kino Pilotů in the Imperial capital.

“MY PLASTIC MOTHER” has officially qualified for the Hollywood Oscar race after winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Flickerfest International Short Film Festival in Australia.

MY PLASTIC MOTHER will premiere next week in North America as part of the official competition at the prestigious Atlanta Film Festival, yet another Oscar-qualifying film festival to feature this Indonesian production.
