We are pleased to announce that the jury of the George Sidney Independent Film Competition has awarded the short film The Masterpiece, by Spanish director Àlex Lora, an honorable mention for Best Narrative Short Film.

The thirtieth edition of the San Luis Obispo Film Festival took place from 25 to 30 April.

The Masterpiece was premiered and awarded at Sundance Film Festival, USA; and Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, Australia.

The Masterpiece is an original idea by the also Producer Lluis Quilez. A script by Alfonso Amador and Lluis Quilez.

The DOP is Manel Aguado.
Euphoria Productions produces the film in coproduction with Calabaza Films, Filmakers Monkeys and Àlex Lora.
