A fun fact about SILENT STORM is that the 9 year-old leading actor, Yexiang LIAO was discovered by director Grace Hsia when she was doing location research in the countryside of southern China.
Grace was immediately fascinated by a scenery when she saw the little boy walking down the river with his cow joyfully.

Two months later, she wrote SILENT STORM and came back to the countryside while gathering 10 of team members from all around china to shoot this fiction short film during the pandemic last year.
She decided to make it a no-dialogue film which setting a cow and a little boy as main characters based on the subject about human and nature.

SILENT STORM is currently triumphing on the film festival circuit.
