Director’s State

Dear Audience,
I am thrilled to present to you my latest short film, When will it snow?.
Inspiration and Vision
The inspiration for this film came from the emotional problems I’ve had, the depression and thoughts of death that have resulted from it. I wanted to explore mention the main aspect, critical human life transitions, social presence, psychological health, interpersonal relationships and posthumanity, and how it impacts our lives in subtle yet profound ways. My vision was to create a film that not only entertains but also provokes thought and reflection.
Themes and Messages
At its core, When will it snow? delves into themes of dysfunctional family relationships and personal psychological depression. These themes are important to me because I have experienced some of the personal problems that have happened to me, I have a sensitive heart.
Through the characters’ journeys, I hope to shed light on the inner truth of a woman, the boundary between life and death.
Creative Approach
In bringing this story to life, I opted for naturalistic cinematography, conveying a story without dialogue. Each shot and scene was carefully crafted to evoke the intended emotions and to immerse the audience in the narrative. Special attention was given to the music with the bleak sounds, the sound of the snowstorm, the performance of the actress expressing his innermost feelings silently and with deep eyes to enhance the storytelling experience.
