Director’s Statement

I’ve always wondered what it is that, in a world filled with unimaginable resources and potential to provide and sustain a full life for each and every one of its inhabitants, fails to meet the most basic needs of more than half of its population.
How is it possible that all technological advances are focused on military use, control, and manipulation, and that a handful of dollars are worth more than a life, a forest, a sea, or clean pure air?
How is it possible that we don’t realize that our children’s education is programmed to make them ignorant slaves just like us?
How is it possible that a human being can feels so special and so above and detach from another human being to the point of annihilating them and feeling nothing?
How is it possible that we allow a few corporations and investment funds made up of a handful of billionaires to own everything produced in the world and to poison the air, land, food, blood and mind in order to depopulate the planet?
