Synopsis
A journey through childhood memories brings nostalgia full of pain and love. Nothing is as it was in childhood; only memories roam freely and illuminate in retrospect.
The environment and everything of that time has been violently ruined and altered by someone.
Seasons have settled in the ruins of troubled memories.
Director’s State
This is my testament, an elegy for childhood, for friends, for my family.
The ever-present turmoil of how things have changed for the worse has always haunted me.
This film is nothing more than a visual journey through the landscapes where I was born and raised.
I felt I couldn’t move forward in life and in my profession as a filmmaker without evoking the most beautiful but also painful memories from the past.
I dedicate this film to all those who have grown up with me and around me.
It’s tragic that we can’t see anything from childhood today that has survived the aggression of urban destruction.
I wanted this film to sound like a secret tale that awakens the memories of my childhood and my friends, a narrative that recalls the beauty of the past in childhood as an experience that has shaped your enduring character.
My visual testament is a call to give the necessary importance to our childhood, our environment, and the people around us.
