Thrilled to announce that two shorts by Mailuki Films have been selected to compete at Shorts Costa Rica/ International Film Festival:
- Anyone lived in a pretty how town, by Daniel Kreizberg
- Cinco, debut by Diego Gardo & Víctor Candela
Both short films will compete for the coveted Golden Frog award.

The Shorts Costa Rica International Film Festival is an initiative dedicated to promoting and celebrating the richness of short films, their diversity in themes, styles and voices, and the great national and international talent responsible for their creation.
This festival seeks to strengthen cinematic diversity through the exhibition, training and dissemination of Costa Rican talent, and the participation of international screenings in the country, giving the public the best of short filmmaking.

The screenings will take place at the legendary Garbo Cinema in the capital from 15 to 25 April.

Anywone lived in a pretty how town premiered worldwide at the prestigious and dazzling Savannah Film Festival and has since competed in countless international film events, including qualifying festivals for the Hollywood Oscars.

CINCO is the debut film by Diego Gardo and Victor Candela, premiered at the Tirana International Film Festival in Albania. A qualifying event for the European Film Awards and the Hollywood Oscars.
