A wonderful festival that begins on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, and concludes on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, in Lafayette, Louisiana, the heart of Cajun country.

All will be eligible for the ‘goujon caille’ prizes (the spotted catfish, the most prized catfish in Cajun culture), designed by renowned artists Pat and Andre Juneau.

The Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival is one of the most interesting and exciting film events in the United States. Every year, it organises one of the most interesting programmes of the best independent cinema from around the world.
