• THE MAGICIAN, by Bogdan Muresanu, Romania/Croacia/France

FINIR AU SOLEIL is the debut film by promising young French filmmaker Ephrem Koering, who has just enjoyed success at the Tirana International Film Festival in Albania and the Victory International Film Festival in USA, where it was happily nominated.

And THE MAGICIAN is the new short film by internationally acclaimed Bogdan Muresanu. The Romanian author was a finalist at the Hollywood Oscars with the unforgettable CADOUL DE CRACIUN.

THE MAGICIAN premiered at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. Since then, it has been featured in a cascade of qualifying festivals for the Hollywood Oscars.

Izmir Short Film Festival is a qualifying festival for the Hollywood Oscars for Turkish animated and fiction short films.
