Thrilled to announce that the short film CINCO, by Diego Gardo & Víctor Candela, is an Official Selection at XXIII Tirana International Film Festival, Albania.

It is the first qualifying festival for the Hollywood Oscars and the European Film Awards to select this incredible production starring Alex Mola, Junior Natera, Sharon Sánchez, and Pablo Verdugo, among others.

Synopsis: Ruby is a young man from a working-class neighborhood in Madrid, tired of the violence and distrust that define his group of friends’ daily lives.
Together with Nélson, Daniela, and Alexis, he spends the eve of Saint John’s Night, where every plan and every action turn into a competition among the boys to validate their status within the group.

As night falls, Ruby finds himself at odds with his friends over an alleged theft, with the flames of the Saint John’s bonfires as silent witnesses.

Tirana International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in Europe.

Following this initial success, we will announce many other worldwide festivals where this wonderful debut by Diego Gardo and Victor Candela is being selected.
