The spectacular auditorium of the Centro Multimeios Espinho was filled to capacity to discover the big winners of the 21st edition of the New Directors/New Films FEST Festival.
Thrilled to announce that the Pitching Forum project Make it Short THREE BODIES BURNING represented by Erik Jasaň and Hynek Spurný was awarded the Distribution Award promoted by Mailuki Films.

Erik Jasaň is a striking filmmaker from Slovakia who is currently triumphing on the international film festival circuit with the short film THE PROFFESIONAL PARENT.

THREE BURNED BODIES is a project about the true price of freedom and what we are truly willing to sacrifice for it. The story follows two Roma women, who put their love to the test during a fake wedding in Pakistan where they explore the meaning of love and freedom in the face of social pressures.

From Mailuki Films we congratulate this promising Central European filmmaker and we will do our best to make his project a success in the near future.
