Thrilled to announce that the short film The Masterpiece, by Àlex Lora Cercos, is selected for the European competition at Kortfilmfestival Leuven, Belgium 🇧🇪

This year, the 30th edition will take place from November 29 to December 7.

This is not the first time that a short film represented by Mailuki Films is part of this wonderful Belgian festival.
In previous editions, directors such as Bogdan Muresanu, Lorin Terezi or Viet Vu also competed with extraordinary works. And even the Belarusian Aliaksei Paluyan was candidate for the European Film Academy Award with the magnificent Lake of Happiness.

The Masterpiece, aka La Gran Obra, is an original idea by the also producer Lluis Quilez.

It was premiered and awarded with the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, USA.

The Masterpiece is a production by Euphoria Productions in coproduction with Calabaza Films, Filmakers Monkeys and Àlex Lora Cercos.

Alfonso Amador and Lluis Quilez are the writers. 
Manel Aguado is the Cinematographer.

Melina Metthews, Adam Norou, Babou Cham and Daniel Grao are the stars.
