This weekend, two screenings of the short film THE MASTERPIECE, a great success of the Spanish filmmaker Álex Lora Cercos, at the 47th edition of the Denver Film Festival, Colorado.
It competes in the official section.
Both screenings will take place at the avant-garde AMC House.

The highly acclaimed Denver Film Festival, which is the largest of its kind in the region, will celebrate its 47th edition in 2024. This intense and concentrated exposition showcases more than 180 new films from around the world with over 100 international filmmakers, directors, actors, and other film artists participating in the ten-day event. The majority of these films would never be seen or discovered in the Rocky Mountain region outside the venue of the film festival. The annual celebration of film provides an important showcase for the best of world cinema, a platform for international film artists, and promotes dialogue among filmmakers and the public.

THE MASTERPIECE, aka LA GRAN OBRA, is an original idea by the also producer Lluis Quilez, premiered and awarded with the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, USA.

The Masterpiece is a production by Euphoria Productions in coproduction with Calabaza Films, Filmakers Monkeys and Álex Lora Cercos.

Manel Aguado is the Cinematographer and Alfonso Amador & Lluis Quilez are the writers.

Melina Metthews, Babou Cham, Adam Norou and Daniel Grao are the stars.
