The XXV edition of the Newport Beach Film Festival also kicks off in California, where Àlex Lora Cercos competes with his successful The Masterpiece. An original idea of the producer Lluis Quilez.

The Masterpiece was premiered and awarded at Sundance Film Festival, USA; Raindance Film Festival, UK; Melbourne International Film Festival, Australia; and Galway Film Festival, Ireland. 

The Masterpiece is a production by Euphoria Productions in coproduction with Calabaza Films, Filmakers Monkeys and Álex Lora Cercos.

Manel Aguado is the Cinematographer and Alfonso Amador & Lluis Quilez are the writers.

Melina Metthews, Babou Cham, Adam Norou and Daniel Grao are the stars.
