Thrilled to announce that the short film The Masterpiece, by Àlex Lora Cercos, is an Official Selection at XXXVIII Edmonton International Film Festival, taking place from September 26 to October 5.

It’s the umpteenth Oscars qualifying festival where this Spanish production by Lluis Quilez for Euphoria Productions has been chosen to compete.

The Masterpiece, aka La Gran Obra, was premiered and awarded at Sundance Film Festival, USA; Raindance Film Festival, UK; and Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, Australia.

The Masterpiece is an original idea by the also Producer Lluis Quilez. 

Alfonso Amador and Lluis Quilez are the writers.

Manel Aguado is the DOP.

Babou Cham, Adam Norou, Melina Metthews and Daniel Grao are the stars.
Euphoria Productions produces the film in coproduction with Calabaza Films, Filmakers Monkeys and Àlex Lora Cercos.
