This afternoon, unmissable screening of the short film The Masterpiece, by Spanish director Àlex Lora Cercos, at the 64th Krakow Film Festival, Poland.
It participated in the Illumination section.

About the illumination section:

The protagonist of possibly the best picture by Krzysztof Zanussi, awarded with the Grand Prix in Locarno in 1973 keeps searching for the truth about himself and the world with a desire to find enlightenment.
Such illumination is also required by the characters of the films screened and awarded at prestigious film festivals as well as their authors in order to create outstanding works of art not lending themselves well to simple interpretation.

The screening was at the incredible Kino Pod Baranami.

The Masterpiece was premiered and awarded at Sundance Film Festival, USA; and Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, Australia.  

The Masterpiece is an original idea by the also producer Lluis Quilez.
A screenplay by Alfonso Amador and Lluis Quilez.
Manel Aguado is the DOP.
